  6. Quality Control: They are responsible for ensuring that all work meets quality standards and complies with building codes and regulations.

  7. Risk Management: General contractors assess and manage risks associated with the project, including safety and liability issues.

  8. Communication: GCs serve as the central point of contact between the client, subcontractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders. They keep everyone informed about project progress.
